The new and elegant Lambi Satin & Gourmet descends from the Leni and Lambi tissue products launched 40 years ago. The Lambi brand was launched in Sweden in 1962 under the name Vita Lamm. Vita Lamm became Lambi in 1987, and at the same time Lambi products began to be sold outside Sweden. The current concept was launched in 1995 in Sweden, Norway and Denmark. In Finland, Lambi was introduced in 1997, and in 2003 it was Poland’s turn. In 2005, Lambi was launched in Russia. Lambi products are manufactured by Metsä Tissue.

Ambientia has implemented the web service of Metsä Tissue, including the technologically demanding publishing platforms. Different target groups and marketing areas have been taken into account when designing the websites for the different brands. For example, Lambi VIP Club is a consumer service which requires registration, and so far it has been made available only in Sweden and Norway. Lambi VIP Club is an excellent example of how the Web can be utilised as a service channel for loyal customers. A Lambi online game associated with the web service was implemented for the Norwegian market as well: the game allows customers to win the same products they could win by buying Lambi products. Thus, local legislation was taken into account and the whole campaign could be carried out. Other brand-related marketing communication and new possibilities offered by the digital media have been carefully taken into account when designing the web services.
