In such a case, it is more reasonable and economical to build a tailored solution for the customer’s needs than to modify an existing program to meet the requirements. Ambientia can provide tailored, web-based software solutions to support the customer's business.
Old techniques and methods have created an image of software development as rigid and expensive. Ambientia has explored possibilities to do things in an easier and more flexible way. We have successfully implemented tailored software development projects together with customers with good results.
In the implemented solutions, we have transferred the customer's business or one sector of it online or tried to make the customer’s processes and working easier. The applications are typically related to the processing of subscriptions or bookings, product information, integration, resource planning or e-commerce.
Ambientia uses Java technology. Even if the solutions are tailored on a client-by-client basis, the implementation is done with the help of existing solutions (e.g., application frameworks Spring, Hibernate and Grails). Almost all of our application developers have the Java Sun Certified Programmer certificate. Some of them have also completed the higher level Sun Certified Web Component Developer training. Our strength lies not only in technical knowledge, but also in project and business know-how.
